Drop-In SWF Clinic — 4 Campuses Next Week!

| 21/05/2017

Are you working unpaid overtime?

Are you being given enough time to meet the grading needs of your courses and students?

How much time are you being directed by your manager to spend preparing your classes?

Is Seneca College management respecting your work enough to give you the time needed to do it well?

For Full-Time faculty teaching in May-June, Fall SWFs are due on Tuesday, May 23rd.

Next week, Union members of the Workload Monitoring Group will be travelling to four different campuses, to help look at SWFs, and answer any questions that you may have.

  • S@Y: Tuesday May 23rd, 10:00-1:00, Room S1200
  • Newnham: Wednesday May 24th,10:30-1:30, Room A3006
  • Markham: Thursday May 25th, 12:00-3:00, Room M1000
  • King: Friday May 26th, 10:30-1:30, Boardroom B

We invite you to drop in at any time. Bring a SWF if you can – past SWFs are fine, too! Come and learn how your workload is measured, and how you can meet your responsibilities to your students, by ensuring that you are being credited with sufficient time to teach them well.

P.S. Please mention this event to your FT colleagues – feel free to show up in groups! If they haven’t heard about the clinic, please encourage them to sign up for Union announcements using a non-Seneca e-mail address on the home page of this website.
