In remembrance of Kemp Weir

Dear Members,

It is with deep sadness that we were made aware of the passing of Kemp Weir, a respected and long-standing faculty member at Seneca for over 15 years and a retired Ontario Provincial Police officer who provided 30 years of dedicated service to the community.  

The notice below provide details of the visitation at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 from 11:30AM – 1:30PM). A service will be held by his family at 2:00PM with livestream available to the public and an after-service gathering is being held to celebrate Kemp’s life at Tiff’s Bar & Restaurant, 29 Anne St. S., Barrie. Donations in Kemp’s memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion and are greatly appreciated by the family.

Kemp’s life and legacy will always be remembered at the college by his friends, colleagues and former students.   We pass on our condolences and deepest regrets to Kemp’s family and his children for their tragic loss and to his colleagues and friends who will miss his presence and friendship.
